Here is the box office collection report of "R... Rajkumar", "Jackpot" and "What the Fish".
R... Rajkumar
Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha's recently released film "R... Rajkumar" is continuing its successful run at the box office.
Despite witnessing a drop in its collections, "R... Rajkumar" has managed to hold well in its second weekend at the domestic box office. The film has reportedly earned more than ₹59 crore nett in 10 days.
"R... Rajkumar" remained unaffected due to poor business of new releases - "Jackpot" and "What The Fish".
The action-packed commercial entertainer, which posted pretty good collections in its opening week, is expected to perform well in its second week as well.
The Shahid starrer has already recovered its investments and is earning profits at a steady pace. The film is likely to continue its good run till this Friday (20 December), when Aamir Khan's "Dhoom 3" hits the screens. The release of "Dhoom 3" is likely to affect "R...Rajkumar" and other new releases.
In overseas markets, "R...Rajkumar" has fared poorly. Barring United Arab Emirates/GCC, the film's business was low in other key markets including US, UK, Australia and New Zealand.
However, the film's overall business has been really good. Despite being panned by critics, "R...Rajkumar" has done well at the box office. The success of the film should resurrect Shahid's sluggish career.
Jackpot
Sunny Leone's second Bollywood venture "Jackpot" has failed to impress the audience.
The film opened on a less than average note, according to Bollywood Hungama. Its first weekend collections stand at ₹3.5 crore.
What The Fish
Dimple Kapadia starrer "What The Fish" is a non-starter at the domestic box office. The film, which released on 13 December, has earned ₹0.4 crore in its first weekend.
