Comedy film "Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2" is one of the hit movies of 2015, while "Shaandaar" (Shandaar) is one of the biggest disasters.

Luv Ranjan's directorial film "Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2" continues to surprise trade analysts with its box office collection. In just two weeks, the film has crossed Rs 50 crore at the domestic box office, turning out to be the most successful film of this year.

The film has shattered the records of Kapil Sharma's debut film "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon" and Varun Dhawan's "Badlapur" in India. "Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2" features lesser-known stars compared to "Badlapur" or "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon".
The comedy drama is now looking to take its box office collection to the Rs 60 crore mark.
The film, which is a sequel to "Pyaar Ka Punchnama, features Nushrat Bharucha, Sonnalli Seygall, Ishita Sharma and lead actor Kartik Aryan reprising their roles in the sequel, while Raayo S Bakhirta and Divyendu Sharma have been replaced by two debutantes Sunny Singh and Omkar Kapoor, respectively.
Shaandaar (Shandaar)
Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer "Shaandaar" earned approximately Rs 40 crore in its first week. After a promising start, the film failed to maintain the hype at the box office.

The box office collection of "Shaandaar" dropped and it remained on the lower side throughout its first week. "Shaandaar" is one of the biggest disasters of 2015, according to Koimoi.com.
When asked about the "Shaandaar" debacle at the box office, Alia Bhatt told The Indian Express, "It's a first for me."
"Shaandaar" will remain dull in its second, as it is out of the theatre in several circuits.
Directed by Vikas Bahl, the film also features Pankaj Kapoor and marks the debut of daughter Sanah Kapoor.
