While "10 Endrathukulla" dominated the Chennai box office in its first weekend, "Naanum Rowdy Thaan" has now overpowered the Vikram starrer in the second weekend.
"Naanum Rowdy Thaan", which was in the second position in the previous week, has occupied the numero uno place by minting Rs 1.10 crore from 243 shows, reports Behindwoods. The Vijay Sethupathi and Nayantara starrer earned Rs 1.44 crore in its opening weekend from 261 shows.
The 12-day total collection of "Naanum Rowdy Thaan" stands at Rs 3.35 crore. The movie has been getting good reviews from celebrities and film critics. Hence, the Tamil flick has made such a huge business in two weekends, say traders.
Vikram's "10 Endrathukulla" has been pushed down to the second place. The Tamil movie could only earn Rs 21.77 lakh from 120 shows and minted Rs 1.65 crore in its five-day opening weekend from 210 shows. The total collection of the film after 12 days stands at Rs 2.23 crore.
