Varun Dhawan's second film "Main Tera Hero" has become the fourth highest grosser film of 2014 by crossing the ₹50 crore mark in India.
The romantic, comedy and action entertainer is directed by David Dhawan and also features Nargis Fakhri and Illena D'Cruz in the lead. The film was released on 4 April and since then it has been raking in moolah at the box office.
The film ruled the first week box office market, but in second week it was affected by Amitabh Bachchan's horror comedy film "Bhoothnath Returns." However, the film has managed to reach the half century mark in India before finishing second week.
"#MainTeraHero crosses ₹50 cr nett mark. Wknd 2: ₹7.50 cr, Mon ₹2 cr, Tue ₹1.20 cr, Wed ₹1.05 cr. Grand total: ₹50.23 cr nett. India biz," trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.

Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut's "Queen" had a fantastic box office run. The film will complete its sixth week run in India on Thursday.
"Queen", a low budget film, managed to have theatrical run after completing four weeks. The film earned ₹61 crore, making it a superhit film of 2014.
