As none of the big-starrer movies released last week, the expectation from the Box Office was relatively low.
Of the three films that released last Friday, "Hate Story 2" surprisingly managed to make a decent run at the box office compared to "Pizza" and "Amit Sahni ki List."
The thriller flick, "Hate Story 2", directed by Vishal Pandya, has managed to earned ₹15.85 crore in India over the first weekend - Friday (₹5.46 crore), Saturday (₹4.74 crore) and on Sunday (₹5.65 crore).

The film, starring Jay Bhanushali, Surveen Chawla and Sushant Singh, received average reviews from critics upon its release, but managed to pull the crowds on its opening day and over the first weekend.
Meanwhile, the remake of the Tamil horror flick, "Pizza" was a disaster at the Box Office. With the day-one business less than a crore, the film was not expected to perform well. "Pizza" starring Akshay Oberoi, Parvathy Omanakuttan and Dipannita Sharma in the leads, on the first day earned ₹75.03 lakh, but managed to make a collection of ₹2.91 crore over the weekend.
Vir Das' romantic comedy "Amit Sahni ki List" failed to pull the crowd with a business of ₹2.83 crore over the weekend (₹68.60 lakh on Friday and ₹90.70 lakh and ₹1.24 crore on Saturday and Sunday respectively.)

All these films have a few days to earn a decent amount until Salman Khan's much-awaited "Kick" releases this weekend. The film is expected to have a huge opening across the country, affecting the business of older movies at the box office.
