Hollywood movie "Furious 7" has dominated the Indian box office, while Bollywood movie "Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!" follows it.

The business of Sushant Singh Rajput starrer crime drama crashed on first Monday at the domestic box office. The film, which performed well during its opening weekend, failed to maintain the momentum at the box office on Monday.
The box office collection further declined on Tuesday and it fared in only ₹1.57 crore.
"#DetectiveByomkeshBakshy Fri 4.20 cr, Sat 4.50 cr, Sun 5.36 cr, Mon 1.68 cr, Tue 1.57 cr. Total: ₹ 17.31 cr. India biz," trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.
The film, released in just 1240 screens, is currently facing competition from Vin Diesel and Paul Walker starrer "Furious 7" in India.

The action thriller is making its way to the top position at the Indian box office with its earth-shattering box office collection.
The film crossed ₹50 crore mark in India in its opening weekend and also managed to pass the Monday test with decent collection.
The four days nett box office earnings of "Furious 7" stands at ₹58 crore, while gross total stands at ₹81 crore.
"#FastAndFurious7 is a game changer. Shatters previous records [Hollywood films]. All set for BLOCKBUSTER status... contd," Adarsh tweeted.
"#FastAndFurious7 passes the 'Monday test' with distinction marks. Thu to Mon ₹ 58 cr. GrossBOC: Thu to Mon ₹ 81 cr. FANTABULOUS!" he added.
Internationally, "Furious 7" was released in over 10,500 screens in 63 territories.
The film also stars Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris Bridges, Kurt Russell, Jason Statham and Indian actor Ali Fazal in pivotal roles.
