"Ek Villain" has completed its third week theatrical run at the box office, while "Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania" ("HSKD") finished its two weeks.
Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh starrer "Ek Villain" has earned ₹105.62 crore from its 21 days run at the domestic box office.

The film had a strong hold at the box office in the first two weeks, but in the third week, the collection declined due to the release of "HSKD" in India.
However, the film directed by Mohit Suri managed to cross the ₹100 crore mark and became the third highest grosser film of the year. The film was expected to beat Akshay Kumar's "Holiday-A Soldier Is Never Off Duty" and Salman Khan's "Jai Ho" lifetime total.
But the fall in the screen count and the number of shows slowed down the pace of the film, affecting its overall business.
Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt starrer "HSKD" has earned ₹56.53 crore in eight days run from its collection centers in India.
The film dominated the box office in its first week and is expected to rule the market in the second week as all other new releases have opened on a dull note. Except for "Hate Story 2," the other two releases "Pizza" and "Amit Sahni Ki List" had a dismissal performance on day one.

All the films, which are currently running in theaters, have one more week to fetch in a decent amount as Salman Khan's "Kick" is all set to release in the coming week. "Kick" is expected to have a huge number of screen count across the country, affecting the business of old movies at the box office.
