Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar's "Dum Laga Ke Haisha" has showed ample growth over the weekend only due to word of mouth.
The romantic movie, which received appreciation from almost all the critics, has surprised everyone with its box office performance. The opening weekend box office collection of "Dum Laga Ke Haisha" stands at ₹6.08 crore.
The film, which was released in just 769 screens, had a slow start but the box office collection doubled on second day due to strong word of mouth.

After a fantastic opening weekend, all eyes are now set on its weekdays performance at the box office. Going by word of mouth and opening weekend collection, the occupancy is expected to remain steady during the weekdays.
Another movie that performed well at the box office is Varun Dhawan's "Badlapur". Despite running in second week, the film maintained its pace.
The film has fetched around ₹6 crore in the second weekend, taking its overall total to ₹42.33 crore. In its first week, the film minted ₹36.31 crore, on second Friday the film minted ₹1.4 crore, Saturday ₹2.07 and Sunday ₹2.55 crore.
The film is now looking forward to touch ₹50 crore mark at the box office.
