Action thriller "Dhoom 3" is now heading for a strong third weekend at the domestic box office. The film had a superb first week at the silver screens, followed by a rocking second week.
The film managed to rake in ₹188.98 crore in its first week, and ₹68.33 crore in its second week.
The third week earnings started on a good note with ₹3.14 crore on Friday. Now the film's overall domestic total of 15 days stands at c260.45 crore.
"Dhoom 3- All Languages 3rd Friday Hindi ₹ 3.03 Cr Tamil & Telugu ₹ 0.11 Cr Total ₹ 3.14 Cr Grand Total:- ₹ 260.45 Cr," trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.
From overseas markets, the film collected around ₹146.38 crore ($23.55 million), which is the second highest earnings after "3 Idiots".
"Dhoom 3" raked in ₹46.86 crore ($7.537 million) from USA-Canada, ₹36.49 crore ($ 5.870 million) from UAE-GCC and ₹23.81 crore (£ 2.332 million) from the UK, according to Adarsh.
The worldwide total of the film is now more than ₹406.83 crore.
"Dhoom 3" is now the highest grossing Indian film at the worldwide box office. Even the gross total of the film is the highest ever.

The film, which is the third installment in the Dhoom franchise, is produced under the Yash Raj banner. Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the film features Aamir Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Uday Chopra and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles.
