Punjabi movie Dharam Yudh Morcha has continued its triumphant run at the overseas box office. It has made decent collection in some key international markets in the second weekend.
Dharam Yudh Morcha has collected $14,880 from 10 screens at the US box office in its second weekend and its 10-day gross total has reached $42,854 (Rs 28.57 lakh). The film has has obtained seventh rank in the US business chart for Indian movies this weekend.
The Naresh S Garg-directed movie has done superb business in a limited number of screens in Canada. Dharam Yudh Morcha has collected US$44,223 from 8 screens at the Canada box office in its second weekend, taking its total to US$132,672 (Rs 88.44 lakh). The Punjabi movie has topped the business chart for the Indian movies in the country this weekend.
Dharam Yudh Morcha has grossed £2,196 from 5 screens at the UK box office in the second weekend and its 10-day gross total has reached £14,521 (Rs 12.58 lakh) in the country.
The Karamjit Singh Batth-produced film is a fact-based Punjabi film covering the era from 1947 to 1984 and highlighting the fight of the Sikh people of India to safeguard their fundamental rights. Dharam Yudh Morcha has collected approximately US$194,319 (Rs 1.29 crore) at the overseas box office 10 days.
