"Bhaag Milkha Bhaag" has finally joined ₹100 crore club at domestic box office before finishing its theatrical run. The film has become second highest grosser of the 2013, beating "Race 2" and "Aashiqui 2".
Apart from "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag", only two films has crossed the ₹100 crore mark at domestic box office including "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" and "Race 2". Since there were no major releases in the past two weeks, "BMB" continued its undefeated run in theaters.
"Has crossed the ₹100 cr mark in its fourth weekend. Emerged the second biggest grosser of 2013 thus far, after YJHD," trade analyst Taran Adarsh said.
With "BMB", Farhan has also joined the list of ₹100 crore club, which has actors like Salman Khan, Shah Rukh, Aamir and others. Earlier, his directorial film, "Don 2" starring Shah Rukh Khan had made it to the ₹100 crore club.
Apparently, Farhan is the only actor in the film industry who has joined the ₹100 crore list as a producer, director and actor.
"Farhan Akhtar is the only talent that features in ₹100 cr Club as producer [#Don2], director [#Don2] and actor [#BhaagMilkhaBhaag]," Adarsh tweeted.
