"Dum Laga Ke Haisha" and "Badlapur" have been going strong at the domestic box office.

Dum Laga Ke Haisha

Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar starrer romantic comedy has shown a consistent performance at the domestic box office.

The weekday earnings are in the same range as opening day collection. The romantic comedy produced by Yash Raj Films has earned ₹9.38 crore in six days from collection centres.

"#DumLagaKeHaisha Fri 1.12 cr, Sat 2.14 cr, Sun 2.86 cr, Mon 1.07 cr, Tue 1.11 cr, Wed 1.08 cr. Total: ₹ 9.38 cr. India biz. Super," trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.

Despite limited screens and slow start, the film managed to hold a place at collection centres in India. The film was expected to take it lifetime total to ₹10 crore, but looking at the six days total the overall business will cross ₹15 crore.

Last year, Kanagana Ranaut's "Queen" had performed extremely well at the box office and that too just based on word of mouth. And this year, Ayushmann's "Dum Laga Ke Haisha" has performed because of the same reason.
