Below is the collection report on the Tamil films released in foreign countries.
Vanakkam Chennai
Kruthiga Udhayanidhi's directorial debut "Vanakkam Chennai" is performing well in Tamil Nadu, thanks to an engaging storyline and popular songs. The film, which earned approximately ₹81 lakh in three days at the Chennai box office, continues to dominate over other films in the city.
With no big Tamil releases in the next week, "Vanakkam Chennai" is expected to continue its successful run at the box office.
In its debut weekend, the film minted £7,371 (₹7.22 lakh) from six screens at the UK box office, whereas it fetched $12,540 (₹7.71 lakh) from 16 screens (reported screens) at the US box office. The total collections could be even higher, according to film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh.
Raja Rani
Arya-Nayanthara starrer "Raja Rani", which released on 27 September, is still running in some screens across the UK.
The film has earned £3,501 from four screens in its third weekend. Its total collections (till 12 October) are pegged at £1,12,131 (₹1.10 crore).
Directed by Atlee, "Raja Rani" is a romantic-comedy entertainer that revolves around a couple who are married against their wishes. The film received positive reviews from critics as well as the audience.
The Arya starrer took a good opening in India (Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka), raking in around ₹3.70 crore on the first day of its release. The film still continues to fetch decent collections in its third week, despite new releases.
Naiyaandi
Dhanush-Nazriya's "Naiyaandi" hit the screens on 11 October. The romantic-comedy entertainer received mixed but mostly negative reviews from critics. Although, the film took a good opening on the first day of its release in Tamil Nadu, it has failed to keep its momentum in the days that followed.

From the US markets, "Naiyaandi" fetched $16,486 (₹10.14 lakh) from 32 screens (reported screens). According to Taran, the film's total collections could be much higher than what has been reported.

Vijay Sethupathy's "Idhaaba" released on 2 October (Gandhi Jayanthi), just five days after "Raja Rani" hit the screens.
