Indra Kumar's directorial "Grand Masti" has reached a nail-biting moment at the box office. The adult comedy has raked in ₹99.02 crore, just a tad short of the century mark, by the end of the third week.
The film, starring Aftab Shivdasani, Riteish Deshmukh and Vivek Oberoi, requires just ₹1 crore to hit the mark at the domestic box office. On the overseas front, the film had already reached the milestone
"GrandMasti Week 3: Fri 1.45 cr, Sat 2.10 cr, Sun 2.65 cr, Mon 1.35 cr, Tue 1.31 cr, Wed 65 lacs, Thu 46 lakh. Grand total: ₹99.02 cr nett," trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.
Despite the release of Ranbir Kapoor's "Besharam", the adult comedy continued to attract viewers. "Grand Masti" should cross ₹100 crore by the end of the fourth weekend.
It will be first adult comedy ever to earn ₹100 crore from the domestic box office run.
Meanwhile, Irrfan Khan starrer "The Lunchbox" is still running in theatres. The film maintained a steady pace during the second weekdays, but on Thursday its collecetions dipped drastically.
In the first week, the film raked in ₹11.58 crore and in second week it raked in ₹7.25 crore. The total collections of the film now stands at ₹18.83 crore.

Maneesh Sharma's romantic comedy "Shudd Desi Romance" has finished its fourth week of theatrical run in India. The Parineeti Chopra-Sushant Singh Rajput starrer has taken its total collections to ₹46.60 crore.
