Here is the box office report of "Gori Tere Pyaar Mein" and "Singh Saab The Great" at the domestic box office.
Gori Tere Pyaar Mein
The Imran-Kareena starrer has earned ₹12.15 crore in six days at the Indian box office. The film's collections have continued to decline with each passing day.
"Gori Tere Pyaar Mein" had a poor start earning ₹2.75 crore on the first day of its release (22 November). Although the film's collections improved on the second (₹3.25 crore) and the third day (₹3.50 crore), it failed to get an impressive figure in its first weekend, despite having A-list stars including Kareena and Imran.
The romantic entertainer has fared poorly in the weekdays, with the film minting less than a crore. On Monday (25 November), the film earned ₹1 crore, however its collections on Tuesday and Wednesday are pegged at ₹0.9 and ₹0.75 crore, respectively. Its total 6-day collections are pegged at ₹12.15 crore, reported Bollywood Hungama.
The film's collections are expected to drop further when Saif Ali Khan's "Bullett Raja" hits the screens on 29 November.
Singh Saab The Great
Sunny Deol's "Singh Saab The Great" has performed better than "Gori Tere Pyaar Mein."
The action drama flick is nearing the ₹25-crore mark at the domestic box office. According to Bollywood Hungama, "Singh Saab The Great" has minted ₹24.75 crore in six days at the box office.
Since the first day of its release, Sunny's film has managed to surpass "Gori Tere Pyaar Mein" collections. Here is the day-wise breakup of "Singh Saab The Great Collections: ₹6 crore on day 1, ₹5.5 crore on day 2, ₹7 crore on day 3, ₹2.50 crore on day 4, ₹2 crore on day 5, ₹1.75 crore on day 6. Its total six-day collections stand at ₹24.75 crore.
Both the films have failed to get a good start in foreign markets. Their business could not sustain thanks to "Ram-leela" wave. The Ranveer-Deepika starrer continues to dominate overseas markets and has affected the business of the two new releases as well as Hrithik Roshan's "Krrish 3."
