If there's one thing every big name developer in the videogame industry agree about (aside all the differences), it's pushing out large updates for games with added tweaks, fixes and features. And there's no reason why it won't be the same for the updates being pushed out for titles running on new-gen consoles such as Xbox One and PS4.
According to reports, Borderlands developer Gearbox has just released a new update for Borderlands 2 and Pre-Sequel package The Handsome Collection on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. And going by the patch changelog, it seems like the update will require quite a space on your console - around 7.7GB.
However, Gearbox does acknowledge the size of the updates for both the consoles. "These update will contain various bug fixes and performances improvements. Note that the update to Borderlands: The Handsome Collection will be very large due to the nature of the performance-improving fixes," it states.
Apart from that, PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 patches have also been released for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. With the update, however, gamers can now enjoy support for their controller's Light Bar, which will glow diverse colours depending on the elemental type of your equipped weapon.
Similarly, for the Xbox One version of the game, players will be treated to fixes for various graphical issues and a host of performance improvements. Apart from that, there's now the d-pad navigation toggle (zoom/navigation) support for ECHO Menu while in split-screen. Other fixes include multiplayer connectivity improvements and even a fix for an issue where some lip sync would sometimes fail to occur in non-English languages.
Also, both PS4 and Xbox One versions will get the unlockable head and skin customisations from Poker Night 2 as well.
