Following a short tease, Supercell, the company behind popular mobile strategy video, "Boom Beach," announced today the release of Dr.T's 'Mega Crab' event.
The event is an evil project of the villainous Dr. T, where he wants to take over the archipelago using the help of a robotic mega base called Mega Crab that emerges from beneath the ocean into the home base of the player.
This three day event has an infinite number of stages for players to beat that keeps increasing in difficulty as players clear the stages.
If the players manage to beat the stage, they will be getting one extra attack, and in case the player has used the extra one attack, they need to wait sometime to gain a new one.
The new event has an interesting addition, something called the Speed Serum, and destroying it enhances the chance to take down the Mega Core. This event is an easy way to enhance resources in "Boom Beach."
Moreover, players will be able to check the High Scores of other players from the local-time zone and that of their friends.
One trick to fare well in this event is to "reinforce the strategically chosen troops and boost statues." Apart from the resources, players will also be earning power stones, intel and so on.
Players must note that this is a limited period event, so they can make the best use of it.
Meanwhile, Supercell recently deployed a maintenance that brought server adjustments, TF search fixes/improvements, and matchmaking improvements.
