Actor Ranbir Kapoor, along with his lady love Katrina Kaif, attended the special screening of "Bombay Velvet" on Sunday in Mumbai.
Just yesterday, the "Barfi" actor announced that he will marry Katrina next year. In an interview with a magazine, he admitted his love affair with the actress and noted that they will tie the knot soon.
"This year both of us are extremely busy, so there won't be any time for the marriage. We have planned to tie the knot by the end of next year. Both of us have agreed on that," The Indian Express quoted Ranbir as saying.
The love birds watched Kapoor scion's "Bombay Velvet", which also features Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar, after which he attended an event where yesteryear actor Shashi Kapoor received the Dadasaheb Phalke Award. Meanwhile, Katrina left for Cannes Festival at night.
The screening of Anurag Kashyap's directorial was also attended by Kalki Koechlin, Gulshan Devaiya and other B-Town celebs.
The film features Ranbir as street fighter, Johnny Balraj, who will be seen as a daredevil. The actor has shot some extensive cage-fighting scenes in the neo-noir drama.
It is being reported that the "Rockstar" actor underwent heavy-weight training sessions for his part in the film. The flick also has Kay Kay Menon, Manish Choudhary, Raveena Tandon and Siddharth Basu in pivotal roles.
Produced by Fox Star Studios and Phantom Productions, the movie is slated for a 15 May release.
