Several cases of bomb scare have come up lately, with most of them turning out to be hoaxes.
Recently, the Haryana Police launched a search operation at Ambala Cantonment Railway Station after receiving a bomb threat call. It turned out to be a prank call made by the son of a railway employee.
Earlier, eight bombs were recovered on the railway tracks in Haryana's Kurukshetra.
There has been a rise in the number of bomb scare incidents after the terror attack in Gurdaspur, Punjab. At least seven people were killed in the attack. An unattended bag in Nashik led to a bomb scare on 27 July.
