Even before the release of his debut flick "Raanjhanaa", actor Dhanush has impressed not just his fans but also of some of the most-popular celebrities of Bollywood.
First, it was Ranbir Kapoor who appreciated Dhanush's work in "Raanjhanaa." The "Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani" star showed praises on the south actor for his impressive performance in his debut Hindi flick, despite not knowing the language. Choreographer-director Farah Khan and Sridevi are also in awe of Dhanush's screen presence.
The latest to join the list of stars impressed with Dhanush's work is none other than Bollywood's 'Mr Perfectionist' Aamir Khan. After watching some of the scenes from "Raanjhanaa", Aamir was bowled over seeing Dhanush's potential as an actor.
Aamir has even gone a step further and expressed his desire to work with Dhanush, who became popular through his "Why This Kolaveri Di" song. Aamir even clarified that he wants to work with Dhansuh not because he is Rajinikanth's son-in-law, but for his impressive work, reported The Times of India.
It remains to be seen if Dhanush will be accepted by the audience. "Raanjhanaa" is slated to release this Friday (21 June). It is a love story set in the backdrop of small town Benares. Sonam Kapoor plays the female lead. The rest of the cast includes Abhay Deol, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Swara Bhaskar, Kumud Mishra, Vipin Sharma and Sujata Kumar.
The film is directed by Anand L Rai of "Tanu Weds Manu" fame. Krishika Lulla has produced the flick and the music is composed by Oscar winner A R Rahman.
