Salman Khan, who is known for playing godfather to many budding stars, has launched several new faces in the film industry by either sharing screen space with them or recommending them to other filmmakers.
The actor star has not only launched film aspirants but also endorsed fresh talent behind the camera like music composer, singers and directors.
It is a known fact that Salman has launched the career of actresses like Sonakshi Sinha, Zarine Khan, Sneha Ullal and Somy Ali. He also helped Katrina Kaif tread down the path of celebrity success starting with "Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya" in 2005.
With "Dabangg" he introduced Sonakshi, while Sneha made her debut with "Lucky: No Time For Love". Zarine was launched by Salman in "Veer" and Somy Ali made her debut in "Anth".
There are also news reports suggesting that he recommended Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to Sanjay Leela Bhansali for "Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam" which saw her career graph rising.
He has also encouraged producer Boney Kapoor's son Arjun Kapoor to take up acting as a career. Salman also helped Arjun in losing weight and through intense workout sessions in the gym.
After helping ex-lover Katrina to kick-start her film career, Salman is helping her younger sister Isabella to join the film industry. Salman Being Human Productions (SKBH) will co-produce a Canadian film "Dr. Cabbie" which is reportedly Isabella's first film.
Suniel Shetty's 18-year-old daughter Athiya and Aditya Pancholi's son Suraj, who recently landed into controversy after his ex-girlfriend Jiah Nafisa Khan committed suicide, are also being launched by Salman.
The 47-year-old actor has taken over the remake rights of Subhash Ghai's blockbuster film "Hero" that will feature Athiya and Suraj in the lead roles.
Salman's bodyguard Shera had appeared in title track of the blockbuster film "Bodyguard". Now The actor intends to launch his bodyguard's 20-year-old son Tiger in the film industry.
Confirming the news Shera told PTI, "It's true that Salman would be launching my son. He has said that (launching his son) which means he would have seen something in my son."
