Bollywood celebrities have joined the celebration in style by wishing fellow Indians and their fans a 'Very Happy Diwali' on Tuesday.

Many celebrities have taken to micro-blogging site to send their Diwali wishes to their fans around the world. "Happy and a Safe Diwali to all my friends all over the world! Time for Lakshmi Puja, Yummy Indian sweets and finally Home sweet home :-)" tweeted actress Preity Zinta.

"This Diwali, may your lives be filled with love, light & happiness! Wishing you all & your families a very happy and prosperous year ahead!" wrote Vivek Oberoi.

Filmmaker Karan Johar tweeted, "Make an enemy a friend..make a parent proud..make your love..love you more...bring the weekend energy into your week! Be happy..this diwali!"

Bipasha Basu also tweeted, "Happy Diwali! Today hope its family n friends time for all! Wish u all prosperity n happiness forever!"

A few actors missed Diwali due to tight work schedule but did not fail to extend Diwali wishes. "I wanna wish everyone celebrating Diwali anywhere in the world lots of love and togetherness. I miss my family today..thank god I have u guys," tweeted Priyanka Chopra. "Due to work Missing Diwali back in my village this year too. Deepawalichya haardhik shubhechy," wrote Riteish Deshmukh.
