Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan got injured while shooting an action sequence for Ram Gopal Varma's upcoming film "Department" on Wednesday.
"A minor incident on set during semi action sequence .. got hit on chest rib cage, some damage inside, pain on breathing, bearable!" Amitabh Bachchan tweeted.
Recently, his son Abhisek Bachchan suffred injury on his forehead and got six stitches while shooting an action scene in Jaipur for Rohit Shetty's film "Bol Bachchan."
Calling the season as "season for injury" the 68-year-old Amitabh wrote on his Twitter "Guess its the season for injury .. first Abhishek, now moi .. happens .. will repair on its own said doc .. he must be right !!"
Meanwhile, the actor is away from worries "Okaay I seem to have let loose a cannon !! It will heal .. do not worry .. all shall be well ..punkrochelle says don't breathe .. Ha," he tweeted.
Taking the incident lightly the actor consoled his fans, "People of twitter world, relax ! Should never have mentioned.. just an accidental hit by either an elbow or the butt of a carbine !!
The interssting part is that Amitabh Bachchan didn't tell anyone even the director Ram Gopal Varma about the injury while shooting and he simply continued shooting.
"I really didn't know about this till I read his tweets. He shot with me for over an hour after he hurt himself," Ramu wrote on his Twitter.
The director later tweeted to Big B: "O hell, Sarkar, and you never told me about this."
