Bobby Simha and Reshmi Menon will tie the knot April 22 in Tirupati. The event will be attended by the couple's close friends and family members.
A source told the Times of India that the couple has also planned a grand wedding reception April 24 at a star hotel in Chennai as not many from the film industry will be part of their marriage. "A Sangeet and Mehendi ceremony has also been organised by Reshmi's side April 17 - this will also be held in a star hotel in the city. Pink, yellow or orange is the colour code for the Sangeet function," the daily quoted the source as saying.
Bobby Simha and Reshmi Menon are busy with the wedding-related works and busy inviting the guests for their D-Day. It is a love-cum arranged marriage. Initially, Reshmi Menon's parents were not happy with the alliance. However, common friends like director Karthick Subbaraj helped convince them and the bride's family gave a green signal to the relationship.
After getting permission from both the sides, the couple got engaged Nov. 8 in Mylapore, Chennai.
Bobby Simha made his acting debut in "Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi." In his short career, he has been part of a lot of successful movies including "Pizza," "Soodhu Kavvum," "Neram," "Jigarthanda" and "Masala Padam." His upcoming films are "Ko 2," "Iravi," "Paambhu Sattai," "Metro," "Vallavanukku Vallavan" and "Kavalai Vendam."
On the other hand, Reshmi Menon made her debut in the 2010 film "Inidhu Inidhu" and has appeared in "Theneer Viduthi" and "Burma." The actress is also busy with her next project "Hyderabad Love Story."
The couple had acted together in "Urumeen."
