Bobby Simha tied the knot with Reshmi Menon in Tirupati on Friday, April 22. The wedding was a simple event, which was reportedly attended by relatives and close friends of the couple, and it was performed as per Hindu customs.
The wedding has not been graced by many from the film industry. However, it is believed that the groom's close friends like Siddharth and Karunakaran will be in Tirupati to wish the newly married couple.
Bobby Simha and Reshmi Menon, who had their Sangeet and Mehendi ceremony a few days ago, have organised a grand wedding reception, which will be held two days later. It will be attended by who's who of film fraternity.
It is a love-cum arranged marriage. Initially, Reshmi Menon's parents had reservation over the marriage and had not approved their relationship. But the timely intervention of couple's common friends, including director Karthick Subbaraj, convinced them.
After getting a green signal from the bride's family, the couple got engaged on Nov. 8 last year.
However, Bobby Simha is not taking a break from the work after marriage as he will be joining the shoots of "Vallavanukkum Vallavan" next week. After completing this flick, he will move on to "Kavalai Vendam." His other upcoming films are "Ko 2," "Iravi," "Paambhu Sattai" and "Metro."
Bobby Simha entered films with "Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi." In his short career, he has been part of a lot of successful movies, including "Pizza," "Soodhu Kavvum," "Neram," "Jigarthanda" and "Masala Padam."
On the other hand, Reshmi Menon made her debut in the 2010 film "Inidhu Inidhu" and has appeared in "Theneer Viduthi" and "Burma." The actress is also busy with her next project "Hyderabad Love Story."
The couple had acted together in "Urumeen."
