Nick Gordon, boyfriend and rumoured husband of the late Bobbi Kristina Brown, is reportedly devastated as he feels there was a chance his girlfriend would have woken up if she had heard his voice.
"Nick is on suicide watch," a source told HollywoodLife. "He is out of control with regret and sadness. He keeps saying that if only [Bobbi Kristina] had heard his voice, things would have been different. She may have lived."
Shortly after Bobbi Kristina's family barred Gordon from visiting her post the 31 January tragedy, he took to social media platforms to say he was sure his presence would help improve her health.
"Let me in the hospital to see my girl and let her hear my voice," he tweeted. "If she hears my voice, let me massage her, play her favorite music I believe it will help."
However, the family continued to prevent him from meeting Bobbi Kristina, the late Whitney Houston's only child, as he failed to meet certain terms set by them.
In June, Bobbi Kristina's conservators filed a $10 million civil lawsuit against Gordon accusing him of assault, battery and emotional distress while they lived together.
Bobbi Kristina passed away on 26 July, nearly six months after she was found lying unconscious and face down in the Georgia townhouse she shared with Gordon. She was 22-years-old.
"Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away Sunday, July, 26 2015, surrounded by her family. She is finally at peace in the arms of God," the Houston family told the media, reports noted. "We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months."
Bobbi Kristina was moved to a hospice care facility last month, and a Brown family source told PEOPLE that Bobbi Kristina was all "skin and bones".
"She has been losing weight, she's been losing hair. They were taking good care of her, but she has no muscle tone at all. There has been some worry that her organs are shutting down," the source said.
Details of Bobbi Kristina's funeral service have not yet been announced yet.
