BMW has expanded its 3 Series Gran Turismo lineup in India with the launch of Sport Line variant at ₹39.90 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi).
The new 3 Series Gran Turismo Sport Line variant is about ₹4.5 lakh cheaper than the BMW 320d GT Luxury Line variant, which is already in the Indian market. From a visual standpoint, Luxury Line variant shows high-gloss black finished kidney-shaped grille and the air dam. The cabin includes car key with sporty red trim and leather-wrapped steering wheel and seats.
Under the hood, BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo Sport Line gets the same 2.0-litre diesel engine of the Luxury Line that can churn out 184bhp at 4,000rpm and a peak torque 380Nm at 1,750 - 2,750rpm.The transmission is taken care of by 8-speed Steptronic Automatic gearbox.
The Sport Line variant will also be assembled at the company's plant in Chennai and the model will be available in non-metallic (Alpine White) and metallic paints, including Black Sapphire, Imperial Blue Brilliant Effect and Midnight Blue. The model is currently available for purchase at the company's showrooms across the country.
