BMW India launched the updated 3-Series sedan in the country with a price tag of Rs 35.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The new BMW 3-series was launched in four design schemes: Prestige, Sport Line, Luxury Line and M Sport.
Powered by the 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine, which can churn out 190hp along with 400Nm of torque between 1750-2500rpm, BMW new 3-series accelerates to 100 km ph in 7.2 seconds before reaching a top speed of 230 kmph.
The updated BMW 3-Series, which will continue to be produced at BMW Plant Chennai, flaunts revised LED headlights and LED fog lights and rear LED units. The interior of the new BMW 3 Series gets new electrically adjustable driver and front passenger seats, chrome highlights, high-gloss surfaces and ambient lighting. As for features, BMW 3-series gets Auto Start-Stop, ECO PRO mode, Brake-Energy Regeneration, Intelligent Lightweight Construction and Electronic Power Steering. It also features Navigation system Professional (integrated Global Positioning System-GPS), with an 8.8 inch high-resolution display.
