Bloodborne is a PS4 exclusiveYouTube

From Software has released a new update 1.02 for Bloodborne that promises a fix to the game- breaking bug that was affecting many players from progressing.

The new update will fix the bug that was widespread in the game. It will also remove the item duplication glitch.

The game breaking bug would jump in to action when players took part in the multiplayer session in Forbidden Woods. And to progress further, the players would need an item, the Lunarium Key to drop, but the bug would not let that happen. The update also brings other unspecified bug fixes.

The update weighs 300MB and will be automatically downloaded onto the game.

VG247 noted that this was not the patch that Sony had promised previously on lessening down the load times of the game. That patch is reportedly still in development.

Below are the full patch notes of update 1.02 for Bloodborne:

  • Fixes the issue of not being able to obtain the "Lunarium Key" once the user partakes in online multiplayer as a co-operative guest by using the "Small Resonant Bell" or as a hostile guest buy using the "Sinister Resonant Bell" in the area, "Forbidden Woods."

Guide to Blood Rock Chalice

Reddit user Two_Rooks has shared an easy guide to Blood Rock Chalice:

In the first sub-room, before players head to Layer 1, there is a Blood Rock. And between the Blood Rock and the player there is one man, a spider and a Brainsucker. Players do not have to go in for the Kill, but just "run into the first sub-room door and follow the singular path to the sarcophagus."

So, this is:

Dungeon: Sinister Isz Root Chalice Dungeon.

Glyph: wbgypzky

Requires: Echoes: 11500

Ritual Blood (5): 13

Tomb Mold (5): 5

Pearl Slug: 3

Red Jelly: 1

Arcane Haze: 32

Meanwhile, SuperData reported that Bloodborne has done better than The Order: 1886, with both being PS4 exclusives.

"The Order: 1886 managed to make a modest splash, entering this month's top ten list at number 8 with $7.1 million in sales. However, following a string of complaints about the game's short playtime, it is unlikely the game will stick around for very long," it said.

The Order: 1886 was considered to be a flop game by many.
