Hit Kannada movie Karva is finally set for its television premiere on Colors Super. The movie, which received cult status in the horror genre after breaking all box office records in 2016, will be telecast at 7pm IST on October 30 on the occasion of Deepavali.
The film, starring mostly newcomers, was produced by the makers of yet another popular horror movie, 6-5=2, which was released in late 2013.
Karva, directed by newcomer Navaneeth, was much talked-about for its background score composed by Ravi Basrur of Ugramm fame. The film stars Thilak, RJ Rohith, Anisha Ambrose, Devaraj, Narayanaswamy of TV9 Heegu Unte fame. Despite being a film with lesser-known faces, Karva found huge box office success both in Karnataka as well as other parts of India, and abroad. The movie was lauded by critics, and is currently rated 8.2 out of 10 at IMDb.
The basic plot of Karva revolves around two happenings — an unknown existence and a mystery untold for ages. The storyline of Karva has been rated highly by those who have watched it in theatres. Most are of the opinion that viewers will be glued to their seats from the beginning until the end.
