South Korean TV channel MBN's drama "Love Alert" has officially addressed the departure of Block B's P.O from the romantic drama.
Speculations were rife about the exit of Block B's fame P.O among various media outlets. The rumours were put to rest by "Love Alert" stating that the singer-actor has stepped down from his role.
According to reports "P.O will be leaving "Love Alert" on Episode 12 due to the actors scheduling conflicts regarding his study management. It is said that P.O will be travelling abroad to do higher studies.
However, there is mixed news from the cast and crew of the drama stating that P.O is not leaving the drama. According to News1, a source has said that "It's difficult to reveal the contents of the drama's script but P.O will not be leaving the show".
P.O plays the part of Yoon Yoo Joon, the younger brother of a renowned actress Yoon Yoo Jung played by Yoon Eun Hye. According to the drama, P.O is a 24-year-old job seeker, who recently gets discharged from military service. In the drama P.O's character lives by the motto "You only live once".
Block B's P.O is also part of tvN's "New Journey to the West 6" and is scheduled to appear in tvN's upcoming drama "Encounter". According to sources P.O has recently renewed his contract with Seven Season's agency along with the other members of Block B excluding Zico.
With various contradicting statements, it is hard to know if P.O is leaving the country for studies. Whether it is the end of P.O as an actor or the character of P.O in the drama is for us to wait and see.
