"Blindspot" Season 1 Episode 10, titled "Evil Handmade Instrument", aired last week before the show went on a mid-season break and is now expected to return with Episode 11 only next year, on 29 February. And if showrunner Martin Gero's words are anything to go by, it looks like there will be more deaths and a Jane-Weller-Oscar love triangle.
Last week in Episode 10, we saw how Mayfair sneaked up on Carter and spoke to him about the whole Guerrero thing. He also told her to get rid of Jane since she's the last link to "Daylight". On the other hand, in the aftermath of David's murder, Patterson is asked to consider a LOA, which she declines.
The fall finale also saw Tasha get a "last chance" from Carter to fulfil his commands of surveillance on Jane and sign her resignation letter. And at the end of the episode, Jane sneaked into Weller's place and kissed him before taking off, but got kidnapped by Carter who waterboarded her for information, causing her to remember encountering Carter in her life before, mentioning "Orion". She was saved by the mysterious man named Oscar with the tree tattoo, who revealed a video to Jane which left her stunned.
And now, the show's boss has revealed that the season will return with more deaths and complicated love issues. Talking to TVLine, Gero said things would get complicated between Jane-Weller-Oscar. Asked that after Carter, David and the bearded man's death, whether there would be more killings, Gero hinted that no one's safe.
"I don't think we're going to have a Game of Thrones moment where we'll do a clean chop, but who knows?" he said.
Blindspot Season 1 is on a mid-season break and will return with on 29 February, 2016. For more information on the upcoming episode and live streaming details, don't forget to check back here.
