"Blindspot" is one of the many shows that NBC is set to premiere this fall. It's expected that the show will be a hit because the network has slotted it in the prime time slot on Monday, right after "The Voice". Also, a couple of months ago, when the pilot of "Blindspot" was leaked online along with "Minority Report" and "Lucifer", it garnered a lot of attention.
The channel hit bull's eye when it premiered "The Blacklist" in 2013 and now, with this brand new thriller "Blindspot", it might just do it again. At least that's what viewers have been expecting, looking at the show's cast, plot and synopsis.
The show revolves around a young woman Jane Doe (covered in tattoos), who is mysteriously found stuffed in an unclaimed duffel bag by a patrolling officer at Times Square. The pilot episode opens with naked Jane crawling out of the duffel bag. She can't remember her name and has no memory of her past life. But her procedural memory is still intact and it hints that she could be a spy agent.
What stands out among all those tattoos and takes the show forward is the name of an FBI's top agent Kurt Weller, who has no idea who Jane is. As the FBI tries to figure out who Jane is and what happened to her and her memory, Doe and Weller realise that each of her tattoos is a clue to a crime. And now, with the help of those inked figures, the two of them try and prevent the attacks from happening.
This gripping thriller by Warner Bros. Television's production stars Sullivan Stapleton ("300: Rise of an Empire"), Jaimie Alexander (Thor: The Dark World", "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.") and Ukweli Roach ("The Royals"), among others.
