"Blindspot" Season 1 is getting really exciting with the clues of Jane's tattoo leading the FBI to crack some super thrilling cases. But at the same time, the mysteries of Jane's tattoos and her past keep getting darker and deeper. And in episode 17, it looks like it may cost Patterson's life.

In episode 16, we saw how an armoured truck carrying stolen Sarin gas was robbed. While the FBI investigated this case that lead them to a corrupt general who was selling the gas to North Korea, Kurt and Jane, on the other hand, were seen moving on in their relationships.
The episode began with Kurt's relationship developing with Allie, and later we saw Oscar professed his love for Jane and they ended up having sex. Only future episodes will tell whether Jane slept with Oscar because she feels the same about him, or whether it was only to retrieve new information. We also saw that it was Jane/ Taylor Shaw's birthday and on the occasion, Kurt gave her a pin that belonged to her mother.
At the end of "Any Wounded Thief," Patterson was seen struggling with memories of Dave when she received a call confirming a reservation he had made for their year anniversary. She goes to the restaurant with David's last crossword, and while speaking to a phantom of David, she solved the crossword which revealed a hidden message that David had solved another tattoo before his death.
Now, episode 17 will pick from where it left last time. According to the synopsis, it looks like Patterson may get into a dangerous situation after having decoded the hidden message in a crossword puzzle. Also, Oscar will give Jane more information about her past life.
The promo of "Mans Telepathic Loyal Lookouts" shows that Patterson will hide this new information from her team and will go on a solo mission, which will lead her to a scavenger hunt all over New York City. But she gets caught by the enemies, exposing her life to danger.
Will the team be able to save her, or will she die in the next episode? We will have to wait and watch.
