New Delhi, Sep 08 (ANI): Political leaders on Monday react as BJP MLA Sangeet Singh Som has called for a Mahapanchayat in Uttar Pradesh to protest against Love Jihad. BJP leader Sambit Patra welcoming the MLA's step said that there is lawlessness in Uttar Pradesh and the BJP leaders are trying to solve the local problem in a local manner and creating awareness among the people against the same. Congress leader Manish Tewari said that such an act is very unfortunate and that the government of Uttar Pradesh needs to take action against such people and BJP needs to account for its MLAs. NCP leaders Majid Memon and Tariq Anwar condemning the act said that such hate speeches will only create differences among the people and that the BJP is only trying to play the vote bank politics in Uttar Pradesh.
