Known for his unique sense of humour, RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav took on the BJP regarding US President Barack Obama's recently-concluded visit to India.
Taking a swipe at the right-wing outfit Lalu said that BJP was an American party, reports India Today.
He said that the manner in which the Narendra Modi-led NDA government handled and promoted the US President's visit made it obvious that the BJP was an American party. The RJD chief said that he had been saying so for years.
Lalu however praised Obama for his speech at Siri Fort Auditorium where he had said that India should not let colour or religion lead to any kind of division within its society. According to Lalu it was a direct reference to the BJP, which he claimed had been doing so in the years gone by.
