Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu is all set to join Hrithik and Katrina in the "Bang Bang" cast when the film's shoot resumes in November.
The Sidhharth Anand directorial will now have Basu playing a smaller part in the action flick.
Confirming the news, an insider told Hindustan Times, "The film's lead actor is Katrina (Kaif), while Bipasha has a smaller part in it. Not many are aware yet, but she is indeed on for the film."
"She will start shooting for her part only once Hrithik and the team start work again in November," the insider added.
Previously, the team of "Bang Bang" had shot portions of the film in the beautiful locales of Thailand, but the shoot had been stalled due to Hrithik's brain surgery in July.
Bipasha had previously worked with director Anand in the 2008 hit film "Bachna Ae Haseeno". "Bipasha shares a great rapport with Siddharth. So when he offered her the part, she immediately agreed to do it," the source said.
The actress had also been cast with Hrithik in "Dhoom 2" and Katrina in "Race". Now, it will be interesting to have the trio together on the big screen for the first time.
The action-romantic film "Bang Bang" is reportedly based on Hollywood flick "Knight & Day" which stars Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz.
As for Bipasha, other than "Bang Bang", the dusky beauty has Vikram Bhatt's "Creature 3D" and "No Entry" sequel in her kitty.
Bipasha is presently shooting for "Creature 3D" which is said to be roughly based on Steven Speliberg's dinosaur classic "Jurassic Park".
