Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover are set to tie the knot on April 30 and the rituals will be performed in Bengali style. The pre-wedding ceremonies have begun with a puja, which was held at Bipasha's place on Thursday and a few pictures from the event have been doing the rounds on the internet.
The Bong beauty looked gorgeous in a pink saree, while Karan charmed in a white kurta. Bipasha's best friend and fitness expert Deanne Pandey shared several adorable moments from Bipasha's pre-wedding celebration.
In one of the pictures, Bipasha and her farther will be seen performing a traditional Bengali ritual. The actress is seen sitting with a gach kouto in her hand and wearing the traditional white mukut, while her father is seen showering his blessings. Deanne also posted a picture of fruits, earthern pot and other materials that were used at the puja.
A day before the wedding, the mehendi-sangeet function is taking place at Villa 69, a lounge bar in Juhu. The bride-to-be looked stunning in her mehendi ceremony, where she wore a baby pink lehenga and Karan was in white outfit.
On Saturday morning, haldi ceremony will take place, following the main wedding ceremony. As the wedding will be in Bengali style, Bipasha will be dressed as a traditional Bengali bride wearing Banarasi saree with the mukut, while the Punjabi groom Karan will be seen wearing a white dhoti and topor. Earlier, it had been reported that the duo will not have a reception, but will host a small party on the night of their wedding for their close friends and family.

In the beginning of this month, Priyanka Chopra's "congratulation" tweet to Bipasha created a buzz as she "unknowingly" announced the "Alone" couple's wedding. Later, Bipasha and Karan officially declared their marriage date on Instagram.
"We are happy to finally share the good news with everyone. 30th April 2016 is the big day and we cannot thank our family, friends, fans and well wishers enough for all their love and support. The wedding will be a private intimate affair. Our deepest gratitude for respecting our privacy this far. We hope to have your continued blessings and warm wishes as we embark on this new journey together," Karan and Bipasha wrote.
