First person shooter game Bioshock Infinite developed by Irrational Games and published by 2K Games is now available on Amazon at a discounted price of $20. The offer is valid until Sept. 25, 2013.
This new deal by the online retailer will help the customers save up to 75 percent and if players do not wish to buy the entire series, they can buy the Bioshock and Bioshock 2 by shelling out $5, reported Cnet.
The gamers will be able to purchase the magnificent Windows compatible game series and requires Valve's Steam digital distribution platform. Hence, this deal will not be beneficial to those who wish to play the game on video game consoles such as the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 will have to look out for other deals.
If the user requires the game for a gaming console then the prices will differ as for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 version of Bioshock Infinite will cost about $30. With all these offers surrounding the flagship game series, it is a good deal for the customers to own the entire series at such a low price.
The primary settings of Bioshock Infinite game is all placed in Columbia. The city has been suspended in the air through a combination of "quantum levitation" and giant blimps and balloons. Set up in 1912 during the growth of American exceptionalism, the game has a protagonist called Booker DeWitt, who is characterized as the former Pinkerton agent. He has been sent to the floating air-city Columbia to rescue a woman named Elizabeth, who has been a captive there for a long time.
Bioshock Infinite has won numerous pre-release awards for its display at E3, 2011. In the first two months of the release, there were more than 3.7 million retail copies sold of the game, according to Xbox 360 achievements.
