Isn't it a proud moment for the entertainment industry?
Directed by Shree Narayan Singh, Toilet EK Prem Katha released on August 11. The movie dealt with a subject that has not been explored ever before. Taking inspiration from real life incidents, the movie highlighted the serious issue with a good dose of light humour and satire. Also, Akshay and Bhumi's onscreen romance was quite refreshing.
Akshay has been doing such wonderful movies with good scripts for a long time. Last year, his movie like Rustom and Airlift made him the National Awards winner. Now, in 2018, he will appear in another subject oriented movie, Padman.
Meanwhile, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha is expected to bag many awards this time. The winning game has already begun as the movie recently received Extraordinary Impact Award at Zee Cine Awards 2018.
