Biju Menon's upcoming Malayalam movie Swarna Kaduva's release date has been postponed. The comedy entertainer, which was earlier scheduled to hit the theatres as a Diwali release on October 28, has been pushed to November.
The team of Swarna Kaduva has announced that the Jos Thomas-directorial will be released on November 4. Along with the latest announcement, the team has also released an interesting poster featuring a leopard and a tiger, in which the tiger (Swarna Kaduva) says: "Brother (Pulimurugan), I am not coming to defeat you, but with a wish to live [translated from Malayalam]." It has to be noted that Mohanlal's action thriller Pulimurugan has been generating tremendous collection from worldwide box offices from the time of its release.
In Swarna Kaduva, Biju plays as Rini Iype Mattumel, who is the driver and assistant of Innocent's character, Lolappan. The comedy entertainer also stars Suresh Krishna, Sudheer Karamana, Hareesh, Kottayam Nazeer, Poojitha Menon and Ineya in significant roles.
Since the release of Biju's Vellimoonga in 2014, his movies have been making a decent business, making him one of the bankable actors of the industry. Though his Marubhoomiyile Aana, directed by VK Prakash, opened to mixed response, his last movie Kavi Uddheshichathu..?, which also stars Asif Ali and Narain in the lead roles, opened to positive response from movie-goers in Kerala.
Meanwhile, Dhyan Sreenivasan and Aju Varghese's movie Ore Mukham is also rumoured to hit the screens in Kerala locking horns with Swarna Kaduva on November 4.
