An army jawan was arrested in Bihar over alleged harassment of a woman on a train on Friday evening, said TV reports.
The jawan allegedly harassed the woman on the New Delhi-bound Rajhdhani Express from Kolkata, NDTV reported.
The woman reportedly informed her colleagues about the army personnel's behaviour.
The accused, who hails form Karnal district of Haryana, was arrested as the train passed through Gaya and later handed over to the Railway Police when the train stopped at Mughalsarai station.
The development comes barely two weeks after a minor girl was allegedly gangraped by three Border Security Force jawans. The incident took place when the girl boarded the Punjab-bound Howrah-Amritsar Express and got into a compartment that was reserved for Army personnel.
The Jharkhand Police rescued the 14-year-old girl in Madhupur and handed over a jawan to the Bengal Railway Police. Two more were arrested in Guwahati five days later based on video footage from the compartment.
