At least 50 children fell ill on Thursday after eating their mid-day meal at a government school in Bihar's Patna district, officials said.
"Soon after the children consumed their meal at a middle school in Tangraila village under Naubatpur block, they first complained of uneasiness followed by vomiting with some of them fainting," a district official said.
All the children were admitted to the referral hospital in Naubatpur, about 25 km from Patna, official said.
"All the children will be discharged by Thursday night," the official added.
The samples of the meal have been collected by police for forensic examination.
The doctors who examined the children did not find any sign of poison in their bodies.
Early this week, 72 children fell ill after having their mid-day meal at two government school in Bihar's Bhojpur and Muzaffarpur districts and a lizard was found in the meal served to them, officials said.
