Biggest ever attempt to release endangered water voles back into Britain
Water voles are endangered, mainly because of the American mink that was brought to Britain for its fur, and somehow managed to escape and populate Great Britain. Now, researchers are going to release 100 water voles at a mink-free late in Yorkshire to try and bring the population back up.
