A crew member working on the sets of Bigg Boss Tamil 2 reportedly died on Saturday, September 8. He had suffered serious injuries after falling down from the second floor on Friday evening.
The worker named Gunashekaran was an AC mechanic and was believed to be addressing technical issues when he slipped from the second floor, falling down on the ground. He was immediately rushed to the nearby hospital where was kept in the Intensive Care Unit.
The treatment failed and he breathed his last on Saturday afternoon. The young man was from Ariyalur town, Tamil Nadu. A case has been filed at the Nazarethpet police station and the cops are investigating the case.
The shooting of Kamal Haasan-hosted show is happening on the sets at the EVP Film City in Chennai.
In the previous season of Bigg Boss Tamil, a 28-year old plumber from Mumbai had died after suffering from a seizure.
Meanwhile, the stage is now set for the elimination of 10th contestant on Bigg Boss Tamil 2. This week, Janani Iyer, Mumtaz, Aishwarya Dutta, Sendrayan and wild-card entrant Vijayalakshmi are in the danger zone.
