Megha Dhade won Bigg Boss Marathi season 1 and became the first winner of the controversial reality TV show in the regional space. She couldn't hold her tears after host Mahesh Manjrekar declared her the ultimate Bigg Boss Marathi winner and handed over the winning trophy to her. She took home Rs 50 lakh prize while Pushkar Jog became the first runner-up of Bigg Boss Marathi season 1.
The Bigg Boss Marathi winner shot to fame when her housemates ganged up to fight against Megha in the early episodes of the show. It was one of the turning points for Megha on the show as the incident helped her garner immense support from the viewers who cast maximum votes for her and made her win the show.
Megha's journey in the Bigg Boss Marathi house has been blissful and full of life. She was also declared as the "Jaan of the show" by Mahesh Manjrekar because of her talkative and expressive nature.
In the grand finale episode, Megha showed her competitive spirit when she was asked what will she do if she gets eliminated from the final race. "It doesn't matter who wins or who gets eliminated from the show. For me, everybody is a winner and even if I get evicted, it is still an achievement for me to reach the finals," Megha said.
Her bestie Sharmishtha was the first finalist to get eliminated from the Bigg Boss Marathi finale race. Her eviction was followed by Aastad Kale, Sai Lokur and Smita's exit and the winner was then going to be announced between Megha and Pushkar. And in the end, Megha became the ultimate winner of the season.
The Mahesh Manjrekar-hosted reality TV show treated viewers with a proper dose of entertainment in the form of heated arguments, hush-hush romance, unmatched friendship and betrayals in the last three months. And on July 22, it reached its culmination.
The finale episode of Bigg Boss Marathi saw some scintillating performances from the top six finalists along with other evicted contestants such as Resham Tipnis, Rajesh Shringarpure, Vineet Bhonde, Sushant Shelar, Kishore Chougule, Bhushan Kadu and Aarti Solanki.
