The initial moments of the September 6 episode of Bigg Boss Malayalam began with the talks between Sabumon Abdusamad and Aristo Suresh. Suresh promised Sabumon that he will smoke only one cigarette on a day. Later, all the contestants led by Hima Shankar performed the laughing exercise. As usual, Pearle Maaney and Srinish started hugging each other, and this time, the hug lasted for more than a minute.
Later, Suresh asked Archana Suseelan to prepare rasam. Sabumon objected this, and he told everyone that the ration system could not be shattered. Archana joked stating that Sabu has to use an itch guard very urgently. The serial actress also made it clear that Sabumon is her brother.
Soon, Hima also informed Sabumon that he is her brother. However, Sabumon revealed that he could not consider Hima as his sister.
After some time, Bigg Boss announced the captaincy task. Contestants nominated Aditi and Shiyas for the task while reigning captain Srinish nominated Aristo Suresh. When Bigg Boss asked to nominate a fourth contestant to take part in the task, contestants nominated Hima Shankar.
The captaincy task was to collect the maximum number of balls from a mud pond and to deposit in a basket. It should be also noted that all the four contestants were tied up in a rope to each other while participating in the task. All the contestants tried their best to collect balls, but it was Aditi who finally succeeded in collecting more number of balls from the mud pond.
Bigg Boss announced Aditi as the captain of the house for next week. Upon hearing the announcement, Aditi thanked everyone for their cooperation.
After the tasks, Suresh and Srinish were inflicted with minor injuries. Pearle applied ointment on Shiyas' wound, while Archana did the same for Suresh. After losing the task, Shiyas became angry. Pearle and Srinish tried to console Shiayas and informed him that the major task was to collect as many balls as possible. Sabumon told Suresh that Shiyas is a stupid person, and that is why he lost the captaincy task.
In the final moments of the episode, all the contestants danced together. Sabumon teased Hima Shankar while she sang a song, and finally, the episode came to an end.
