Bigg Boss Malayalam August 9 episode update: Angry Shiyas up in arms, says he'll slap Pearle Maaney

The August 9 episode of Bigg Boss Malayalam began with a music class organized by Aristo Suresh. The 'Action Hero Biju' actor taught classical music to the housemates. After some time, Bigg Boss gave the contestants the first task of the day. Contestants will be given a random word or phrase, and each of them should talk about that particular topic.

Shiyas was the first person to select a topic, and he got the word 'love'. The young model somehow managed to talk about the topic until the buzzer rang. Archana got the word 'isolation'. The serial starlet revealed that she felt isolated after her friends including Deepan were eliminated from the house. However, she made it clear that everything is fine now due to her creative rapport with the current members of the house.

Srinish talked about the topic 'mother'. As per Srinish, his mother is the sole reason behind his career. "I am here just because of my mother. I actually miss my mom a lot, but I am not expressing it, because it will make her feel sad. My mother has always asked me to love everyone, and I have been doing that throughout my life," said Srinish.

The next contestant to pick the word was Aristo Suresh. Suresh who got the word 'change' talked about his transformation from a goon to an artist. Pearle Maaney got the word 'hate'. The 'Nayika Nayakan' anchor started her speech elegantly, and her words evidently indicated that she is a good motivational speaker. However, Shiyas mocked Pearle while she was talking, and it irked her to the core.

After some time, Pearle asked Shiyas to refine his character. "Shiyas, you have to change yourself. Your behaviour is literally irritating. If a person is performing on screen, why you are trying to irritate? This is not a good attitude," Pearle told Shiyas.

However, Shiyas behaved adamantly and made it clear that Pearle is no one to boss over him. At one point in time, Shiyas said that he will slap Pearle. After hearing Shiyas' remarks, Suresh became angry, and he remarked that nobody has the right to slap anyone. Shiyas continuously shouted at Suresh, and it made him very violent. Sabu intervened and tried to calm down both Suresh and Shiyas.

Later, Bigg Boss collected inputs from the contestants and named Shiyas, Aditi and Anoop as the contenders for next week's captaincy contest.

In the final moments of the episode, Sabumon informed Ranjini Haridas that Suresh is acting over possessive when it comes to things surrounding Pearle Maaney. Ranjini promised Sabu that she will talk about this to Pearle soon.
