This week's elimination might come as a shocker to several "Bigg Boss 9" fans. Priya Malik, the wild card entry who became the first finalist of season nine, has been eliminated from the show.
Imam Siddique selected wild card entries Priya and Rishabh as the two contestants, who have the potential to reach the finale, and based on housemates' decision Priya was selected as the first finalist. But Priya has to end her journey at a crucial point of the show, i.e. just a week before the finale.
According to Twitter buzz, Priya is evicted from the house. The Reality Post, a Twitter handle that predicted all the previous evictions, tweeted that Priya has been eliminated. The Twitter handle also posted the voting trend, which showed that Priya has received the lowest votes.
"#BB9 #BiggBoss9 Breaking : #PriyaMalik is EVICTED from the Bigg Boss 9 House as per our sources (First News Here)," The Reality Post tweeted.
Also,ex-Bigg Boss contestant Kamaal R Khan on Friday tweeted that Rochelle Rao or Priya will be eliminated from the show. Kamaal R Khan, popular as KRK, was also the one who gave out the confirmed list of "Bigg Boss 9" contestants.
"Tomorrow @RochelleMRao or @PriyaSometimes will go out of #BiggBoss9 because Me Me Me the no.1 critic KRK says so," KRK tweeted.
Though Priya became the first finalist, she was still in the danger zone along with Keith Sequeira, Rochelle, Rishabh Sinha and Mandana Karimi. Only Prince Narula was safe from nomination as he won the "ticket to finale" task and directly went into finale week.
Meanwhile, this Saturday "Airlift" actor Akshay Kumar appeared on the show with his co-star Nimrat Kaur. Akshay and Nimrat entered the house and gave a task to the contestant and at the end of the show Akshay 'airlifted' Priya from "Bigg Boss 9".
