"Bigg Boss 9" host Salman Khan denied the rumours about actor Akshay Kumar co-hosting the show this season.
As earlier reported, there were rumours that the "Khiladi" actor will join Salman to co-host the show. But, recently, the "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" actor clarified that the news is not true.
"No, it is not true...sometimes rumours are spread..." Pinkvilla quoted Salman as saying.
On the other hand, Akshay too avoided the question when asked at GQ Awards 2015. He said, "What has that got to do with GQ? If you have something, some question about fashion, let's talk."
However, the theme of this season of "Bigg Boss" is 'Double Trouble' and thus, speculations were made that there will be two hosts. Also, there were rumours that Akshay would co-host only one episode to promote his upcoming flick "Singh Is Bliing".
Like "Bigg Boss" season 5, Sanjay Dutt and Salman hosted few episodes together, fans were expecting Akshay and the "Dabangg" actor to co-host this time. But Salman slammed all the rumours.
This is the sixth time that Salman is hosting "Bigg Boss" which was launched recently. Last season, the actor had quit the show in the middle. It was later hosted by Farah Khan. But, the actor is back in "Bigg Boss Nau" and this time with 'Double Trouble'.
Meanwhile, there are reports that the new season and Salman's latest flick "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" will premiere on television on the same day - 11 October.
